Android Jelly Bean 4.1 for GALAXY ACE Flashing Tutorial.

Android Jelly Bean 4.1 for SAMSUNG GALAXY ACE(Gt-5830).

ROM Release Date : 04th October 2012

Jellaxy is an open-source CM10 or AKOP rom alternative to your stock ROM.

DISCLAIMER : Either we nor JELLAXY is responsible for any problem that may occur during or after flashing the device. Please make all the BACKUP of your DATA before flashing it.

You have to know what you are doing with your device.

This update is for advanced users only, If you are a noob please dont try this.

Not working:

HQ playback (need hardware drivers for that which are NOT available)

- Native Wifi Tethering

- Native USB Thethering

- Network usage

- Panorama

There is a bug that you need to change all the volumes after clean install (or after wiping data), otherwise, sound will not work!

You need to install ClockworkMod Recovery V5  from here 

If you already have it skip this step,

1. Download ClockworkModRecovery 5.0.2.6. (Applicable to Gingerbread)
2. Once the CWM zip file is downloaded, place it to your sdcard.
3. Now reboot into recovery (By pressing and holding Power button+Menu button during boot)
4. Select ‘Apply Update from SDcard‘ and select the CWM zip file placed in your sdcard. (Note: If your zip file isn’t named as update.zip, please select option “Choose zip from sdcard” and select the .zip downloaded above).

Restart from recovery. For verifying, go into recovery again. You will find that recovery has been updated to CWM Recovery.

Installing Jellaxy CM10 on your GALAXY ACE

Till now you have installed clockworkMod recovery and have made all your BACK up's.

                                                

 
• You have to strictly follow all the steps mentioned above in the post.

                                               

• DOWNLOD HERE : CM10- 5/10/12 Latest Version by Jellaxy.

                                     

Instructions:

1. Boot into ClockworkMod Recovery v5 by holding power+home key during boot.
2. Wipe Cache and Dalvik cache from the recovery.
3. Now copy the ‘cm-10-20121005-UNOFFICIAL-cooper.zip’ downloaded above in root of sd card.
4. In recovery, select ‘Install zip from sd card‘ and then select ‘cm-10-20121005-UNOFFICIAL-cooper.zip’ you copied to your sd card.
5. Select install and allow the process to complete.
6. Just before exiting you need to factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache for sound to work.

And you’re done! Jellaxy CM10 has been installed to your Ace.

Just one more thing before you start, we need to install the Google apps(GAPPS).

That’s it. You need to flash the Gapps separately.

Now you just need to restore the backups you madebefore flashing.

So you can keep using your contacts, calendar, memo, SMS , call log etc.
